This microscope has been designed for research. Based on the itelligence automation of the DM DigitalMicroscope series, the DM6000 B lightens your daily workload even more with the motorized stage, motorized objective nosepiece and, of course, motor focus.
The newly designed fluorescence axis is equipped with a turret for up to 8 fluorescence filer cubes. Together with a Leica DC camera and an extensive software package, Leica now offers you a complete, fully integrated sytstem for microscopy, image recording and image processing. All from the one source - top optical quality, convenient operation, brilliant photographs, and reliable image analysis.

The automation of this completely motorized upright microscope is brilliant. Together with our new firewire cameras as well as our software products for image analysis and archiving, this light microscope makes a custom-tailored system.
The automated transmitted-light axis can be used with all contrast methods including the world’s first automated DIC. The motorized fluorescence axis can be fitted with a 5x or 8x filter turret. The motorized Z drive provides you with conveniences like parfocality and the motorized stage acts as an integral part of the system. The control of the system is particularly easy with the touch sensitive LeicaScreen and the remote control unit Leica “SmartMove”.
All these features make the Leica DM6000 B a perfect research system for high-end applications like GFP - live cell imaging with time lapse, z-stacks or deconvolution
